HCD Kristall Club, Davos

Starting situation and idea

HCD Kristall Club is a fan club which encourages and financially supports Hockey Club Davos. Members enjoy special entry privileges and a reserved lounge. The clubroom needed to be refurbished and seating added expanded to accommodate the increase in capacity from 50 to 60.

Approach

Functional, regional and cosy are attributes that describe Kristallclub. Traditional wooden interiors and simple design proved to be just right for the expanded clubroom in which members and guests immediately feel comfortable.

Challenges

The increase in capacity from 50 to 60 members meant that the clubroom needed to be expanded and the number of seats increased. The available area is defined by the roof structure so the additional place under the tribunes was used. A kitchen as well as separate toilets for men and women could be integrated into this space.
