Starting situation and idea

A new automobile garage was built in 1999 on Chur’s automobile mile, on Rossboden. In 2010 adjustments were impleted.

Approach

Two additional showrooms with display windows facing Rossbodenstrasse could be realised by extending the existing structure of the showroom wing. The additional working spaces and staff rooms were positioned at the rear of the building in the continuation of the car workshop.

Challenges

The change of automobile brand involved building additional showrooms and other working spaces. A master plan was drawn up showing the potential of a large automotive centre showcasing three brands in addition to a used car showroom.
